The Middletown Aviation Foundation seeks to promote aviation in Southwest Ohio through public outreach programs. It’s primary tool, the Wings of Freedom Airshow, is intended to offer Butler County and Southwest Ohio an opportunity to celebrate our rich aviation heritage. While providing a fun, family oriented event to the community it also serves to boost the local economy through millions of dollars of related spending. This significant positive economic impact represents the monetary justification for such an event. Beyond the beneficial economic impact, the Wings of Freedom Airshow endeavors to pursue valuable philanthropic objectives, including:

• An opportunity to honor America’s veterans and active duty personnel.
• A method to connect positive role models (“heros”) to the youth of America.
• Promotion of aviation as a career and life long interest.
• To offer a venue for local charities and businesses to connect to the community.
• Showcase America’s military strength and to promote their mission.
• Promote patriotism and pride in our community and country.
